Went camping this weekend at Knoxvlle IA for the sprint car races. We were sitting around solving the world's problems when we saw a Ford SD with a 5 wheel camper pulling through the campsites. He was going at least 20 (very muddy grass campsites) and ran over a huge fire ring. Now I don't mean he bumped it , he ran OVER it. By the time he stopped it was under the cab. Then the drunk girl friend got out to help him. With her help and three back up/ forward moves they managed to get it pulled completely out of the ground and rolled all the way to the back of the truck. The final lunge forward got the fire ring wedged under the back bumper, piercing he driver's rear tire and they dragged it another 20 feet . There is a point where you have to stop the madness, so we go over and raise the fifth wheel and truck, remove the fire ring. We leave the couple to do whatever ............ I looked under the truck, no oil or fuel leaking just a flat tire and a torn mudflap. If I'd done that there would be hole in the oil pan, hole in the transmission pan, a big ole bow in the drive shaft and gas pouring out on the ground. You'd should have been there. Go figure!!! Anyway built Ford Tough
dude thats a BBQ, it sits about three feet in the air. i thought you meant a fire ring (split rim). i could almost understand hitting a split rim...but a BBQ, what a moron.
The grill part stands about 20" tall and the ring is about 36" across (like a split rim) but it is mashed into the grill part. The long pieces are angle iron driven into the ground to keep the grill in place.
You never have a camcorder when you need it.
FORD SUPER DUTY! The truck you want of you're going to drive drunk and stupid.
