Alternator Bracket?
My dad just brought home my replacement alternator today, but the problem is that the holes on my old alternator are at 12 and 6 o'clock, and the new one is at 12 and 3 o'clock. is there anyway to take the bracket off the old alternator and replace the one on the new alternator? help is appreciated. asap. thanks!

You cant reclock the bolt holes, only the wiring positions, you need the correct alternator. There are two different ones. If the painted bolts are broken, most places will not accept the return
