I got to wondering if the Raptor 17" wheels will fit my 2009 150. I see no reason why not. I was planning to keep the Scorpions until they are worn out, but I just don't like the 20s nor the performance of the tires. Anyone know if the Raptor wheels fit other 150s?
yes they will fit they are the same 6 by 135mm bolt pattern
Thanks... For some reason I had it in my mind the 17" wheels have clearance issues with the brakes; I know this is unlikely since 09 and up 150s come with the 17s. Just a 'brain cramp' on my part I guess. I like the 17" wheel 'look' better. I'm just not used to the 'small' sidewall of the 20" wheel, nor am I a fan of the $$$ it takes to purchase new 20s.
I have searched the 'net a good bit and I think I have my answers....
Raptor wheels are 17" x 8.5" wide, have 6.16" backspacing with a 34 offset.
Stock FX4 20s are 20" x 8.5" wide have 5.5" backspacing with a 44 offset.
Given the difference in backspacing and offset, and if my understanding of each is correct, these should fit and be positioned in the wheel well at about the same place. I am interested in other 'informed' opinions. I'm not looking for a bigger tire, dimensionally, than I have now. I believe a P275/70R17 will be as close as I can get.
