460 swap
Ran into a huge problem today wondering if any one can help me out????
i have a 67 ford f250 with 02 superduty axles mounted underneath and ust to have a 390 in it but just tried stabbin the 460 in tonight motor mounts didnt line up, but the tranny bolts are lined up perfect it seems like i need the towers moved 2 inches towards the back of the truck any one tried or know anything about this? THANKS

The mount towers are different for 460 and FE's. They are available from several sources including L&L. I don't know if the 67 frame is drilled to accept the 460 stands and mounts. For the 73-79s, there are stock mounts available too.
