Rod Balancing

If i purchase new connecting rods for my FE390 do they need to be balanced before installation? Its not a hi revving engine or anything. I need the new rods because I'm turning my FE352 into a 390. Yes i have a new crank. I know people are gonna ask why do i need them haha XD. It all boils down to do i need to balance my new rods?

Nobody could say with any real degree of certainty, but if it's all OE stuff it might/probably be ok. A balance job is only $200 in my area so even if I just switch pistons I always get it done. With the extent of the job you are doing I would have it done, why take a chance.

It would be more important to have the rod/piston combos of equal weight and the whole rotating assembly balanced for a high performance application, but for regular use if these components fall withing stock tolerance ranges no additional balancing is necessary.
