1940 panel
I just bought a 40 panel. My plans are, frame off, mild 8ba, t-5, 9", 4" drop axle. Do I need to split the wishbones for the t-5?, Has anyone used the Mr roadster composite rear suspension? As you can see in my avatar I just finshed a 1951. I got a lot of help from members on that forum. Any advice or links would be a big help. Thanks, Pete

AFAIK, the '40 panel, if a half ton, is the same frame as a car, so I would think a lot of the same detail pertain here when swapping a T5 in. That said, you can look here: Ford Flathead V8 .. 1932 thru 1953 • Index page There is a tech section they have that explains a bunch about the T5 behind a flathead.
