this is what gas in his truck would be like if he is not makin the white smoke then i doubt it is that problem and it does run terrible YouTube - ******* put gasoline in a Diesel truck and these guys are very dumb id love to see that motor after that better them than me and i love how he revs it so dumb
ya its amazing how ppl today mistreat stuff they dont have to pay for i bet you mommy and daddy wouldnt be happy but he doesent care cause he didint buy it now im not gunna lie my parents bought my truck but they know i take care of all my stuff my fourwheller gets a air filter oil oil filter and new diff fluid every six months and i take exceptional care of my hunting rifles also so they dont worry about that with me not to mention they would sale it real quick if i disrespected it
Just thinking perhaps you could try replacing the fuel filter and fill the filter with some cheap ATF? If the diesel clatter sounds fine but running like crap the filter might be done. That's cheap and needs to be done anyway... Perhaps the filter is full of water? I dunno.
no his water in fuel light would be on if that was the case so thats not it and if his fuel filter nedded changin the light would be on not sayin that aint it but it is more than likley the orig injectors decided to take a dump on him and he needs new ones
Your water in fuel light actually works? Of the 3 ford diesels I have owned and 6 german diesels, not one had a functioning water in fuel light. That's just me, I guess. The point I was trying to make is without a proper diagnosis, don't automatically go to the most expensive repair. My suggestion to the OP is to front the money and take it to a diesel shop. You could try throwing parts at it, but that could get expensive... fast. with no guarantee of a repair. My experience has also show than 1 or more injectors don't suddenly stop snapping open properly in a one day period... I'd do some more diag and not make a costly guess.
Huh, there's lights for water in fuel and for filter changes? Never seen them work either, one of the trucks it always seems to fall off the filter no matter how I set the connector up.
