Just curious, is your compressor on when it is blowing hot air? I have been having the same problem and thought it might have been a lack of freon in the system. Well it was over charged so we evaced and recharged it at work last week. The compressor wasn't kicking on. We started messing around with it and come to find out the connector for the high pressure switch had some issues and now needs to be replaced. It might not hurt to check the connector as it is right up top and it should take you 30 seconds to visually inspect where the terminals connect to the plug.
Well, between the clutch and the A/C compressor pulley(outside of where the belt runs),there is supposed to be a gap of they say.020 to.025,when I checked mine, the gap was.064,which is too much of a gap for the electromagnet pull to close the clutch when it cycles off and on,(Marv...Springerpop has a good write up on it).SpringerPop's Compressor Clutch Air Gap
when I got the clutch off I noticed there was only one shim in there,I removed that shim, reinstalled the clutch and ended up with an air gap of .026.So far it is running/cycling like it should, and the air is very much colder than before.Just wanted to update......
Thanks for the update!
Can you cancel the O'Reilly's order? You won't need shims next time, 'cause you have run out of space to remove. That's the place I'm in, too.
But "next time" shouldn't happen again for years....

Well,I thought I would get the shims, maybe get a look, note the different thickness of each shim so we'll know what the kits contain,I'll post up when they get here, probably Mon.or Tues.
Wowie-zowie, Batman! $19 for those five little shims? That's what O'Reilly's gets for them! That's also Ford's "list", but their "trade price" is only around $13.
If you will allow me to, I'll post the thickness info in the "how to" article.
