starting problems on 06 6.0
This truck has 62000k and has been having alot of problems of late. Two days ago I went to start and it fired up messy and I thought I had done something wrong, next day same thing but barely started and black smoke and no power but once it was running and it cleared up, ran great all day. Today it won't start and it seems to be trying, fires but will not actually start. It is going to the Dealer on a tow truck tomorrow but I was hoping for some information on what it could be.

Check the tech folder for the "No Start" thread. There is a ton of good info there. Sounds to me like the STC (Snap To Connect) fitting on the HPOP has died. Could also be a FICM failure. Fuel Injector Control Module
