Electric Cooling Fan?

Anyone run a electric fan instead of the engine powered fan on our trucks? I am asking cause IDK about if I will have room between the engine and radiator for the fan. Just trying to get a idea. And I like the idea of a electric fan with a manual override switch. Thanks guys much appreciated.

I'm planning the electric fan swap sometime in the future. Whenever I get around to it and have some extra money around.

I am just thinking about it cause of a issue with room in the engine compartmentthat may or may not arise. I may do it anyway.

I've heard of guys running without a fan in the winter without problems.

Are you planning a intercooler? If not you could put the electric fan on the outside of the radiator. If you are going to run an intercooler though, you could get one of the slim electric fans.

Well remember this is going in a 75 F250 so IDK how much room I will have but I plan on a IC and I plan ont he fan being on the engine side of the radiator like most electric fan setups.

Inject a nitrous oxide fog in front of the radiator for extra cooling... lol

I've seen ricers do that on their intercoolers. Fog nitrous or CO2 in front of it to cool the air charge.

Actually you may laugh at them but it does work. How I know is I do pay a little attention to the Japanese car scene and HKS there R33 Drag car has a Nitrous bar in front of its intercooler to help cool the charge down, and yeah I know you can get a kit from DEI that attaches to your Intercooler to cool it down. And I am seriouslt thinking about going out on a limb and seeing if it would help any.... But problem is it has to be a good fogger bar not some cheap *** setup.

I was just gonna tape a bunch of CO2 cartridges from my bb gun in front of it and set up a switch to puncture them all at once while going down the drag strip. lol

My question is what would puncture them all at the flip of a switch?
