How do you??????
Disconnect the fuel vent tubes on a carb.....they are a royal pain.
Is the black/white disk a disconnect for them or do I pull them off the metal tube from the fuel bowls??

on all the carbs i've ever worked on, they weren't either present or they were disconnected at the carb.
I'd just say pull them off from the carb and tuck them back out of the way if their is no emissions in your area...

The disk is either a Vacuum Check Valve (VCV - one-way) or a metering disk (Vacuum Delay Valve), but I think VDVs are colored. It doesn't really matter where you pull it apart, as long as you remember how to put it back. Messing with the vacuum system is asking for trouble, so put it back stock when you finish.
