MAF and roller conversion 85 f150
I've read several MAF converisions online, has anyone on here done this?? Do you like it?
Just curious, I've been kicking around the idea of possibly a MAF conversion and a Roller cam conversion.

for your setup going with a mustang efi mass air harness should do the trick. you could also run a mustang a9l or a9p ecu to control it.
just understand cams that work well in cars dont work well in a heavy truck. also a cam is rather pointless unless you have the exhaust redone, heads either worked over or aftermarket.
tell us a bit about your F150, what tires its running and such and how you use it. all this motor work might be for not.
I'm going the route of a sport truck for the restoration, dropping it 3" with a DJM setup. It currently has 17" crager style wheels (I cant remember the tire size at the moment, I'll look at them in a bit)
I figured during the motor build, It will be easier to get everything converted then or just order a crate motor, but it just seems to be cheaper to get a short block (they are pretty cheap from what i've seen) and build it the way I want it. Like I said though, nothing too crazy, but have it talking a little smack with a little cam
.What a good set of heads and mating headers I could use on the truck withough having fitment issues when installing the headers? I go the route of shorties?? What kind of cams do you recommend for a truck? oh yeah the truck is an automatic as well.
