powerstroke question
2001 f350 diesel , 30,000 . running fine then serv eng soon light and 80 % drop in engine power. good oil psi,elect and temp. i have tried 3 diff code readers and they all say "pass" no codes. any ideas will help , thanks

Welcome to FTE. If the check engine light came on, there are codes stored. Most code readers will not work with our motors. The free scans from the auto parts stores will not work.
Is the engine just low on power, or does it shake and act like it's not firing on all cylinders?

Good idea to pull the codes first. Or just pull the valve covers and see if the injector harness plug is coming loose.
