I have never heard of a 3 speed t-case. Care to enlighten me as to the make, model, and ratios of it? I have the old Dana 20 in my 68 and would like to replace it at some point.

The only issue I have had flat towing is when I turn my truck really sharp one way and then really sharp the other way before the bronco's tires have time to catch up. This leaves the bronco tires pointed one way and the truck pointed the other.

I have the STaK 3 speed

STaK

There is also an Atlas 2 and 4 speed

Atlas Transfer Cases by Advance Adapters, Official Home Page

Plus a few other options. Main things gotta watch for - adapters needed to go to trans, fitting between frame rails, length so you still have a enough room for rear drive shaft, willing to go body lift or cutting hole to make room for these big things, potential need for new exhaust, making a crossmember. PM me if you want to discuss want you are looking to do. I know a few dealers (not friends) of various options and they support the products well and you will likely need some help/advise.

Without going into name - a few of companies that are offering tcase are suffering a little lately with financial issues. PM me when the time comes to consider a new case.
