Bid on a set of Expedition floor mats on eBay at the end of last November. Seller was Tim Martin from Virginia. He had some good positive feedback and provided a good description of the mats. Tan set with 3rd seat runner. His auction listed 12 sets and two of us bid. We exchanged information and I paypal'd him $61.00 including shipping. On the 11th of December, I email him asking where the mats where. Seems the "last 3 sets were defecitve and he needed to order some more" but that he would refund my money if I wished and email me when he had some more. I opted for the refund. He says I will have it in a week. Then, in a week, he apoloizes for the delay and says it will be mailed in 3-5 business days. Well... We are sneaking up on the middle of January and I haven't heard anything from the schmuck. I have emailed him a couple of times since. Of course, eBay only allows you to leave feedback for up to 30 days from the end of an auction. And PayPal only guarantees help for up to 30 days from the transaction (I'm 3 days late!!). THAT SUCKS! THAT REALLY FREAKIN SUCKS! But alteast I'm not alone. I checked his feedback on eBay since the first of December. 8 negative! He screwed a bunch of folks.
Anyone out there live in Va? Know this dope?
The 3-5 days to give you a refund should have tipped you off. You paid with PayPal, he should have refunded you with PayPal. It takes about 10 seconds to do that.
What town is he in? I am in Richmond, VA and will help if I can. I hate to see anyone getting ripped off like that, it's bad enough when the product just turns up to be inferior and your stuck with it.
If you do get your refund you might check into Performance Products.com, I just bought a full set of "Catch-All" floor liners and though I paid about double what you lost, I was very happy with the product
That sucks man. Do you have his email address? We can spam the hell out of him if you....
try out Cabelas for you floor mats. I paid 80$ for the front and rear liners. There not as thich (dense/heavy) as I would have liked, but they work good..

I picked up some floor liners from www.mats4less.com (cheaper than Cabelas)They are the EXACT color of the stock carpeting, they work super.
Now I wont scratch up the running boards by cleaning my boots this year, best of all, when they get trashed, you just pop them out and hose off. I scotchguarded mine just for insurance.
took my 98 EB X into the dealer for rough running, and was quoted $400 for injector cleaning (they recommend to everyone), and PCV valve (actually the rubber elbow at the rear of the top of the engine was cracked), and a bad #4 coil. After telling them OK with the coil and elbow, I found out the elbow was the only thing replaced, yet they charged labor for ignition coil and labor. You can see all eight, back left one is hard to see. They were all dirty and you can get the serial numbers off them. I confronted manager and got a refund. They tried showing me the old one they 'replaced', which did not match all 8 serial #s, but I showed them dirty coils and all numbers matched. If they replaced one, it should stand out being pretty clean, and probably a different serial # than the other 7. Damn I was mad, I'm tired of them Fcking with us !! QUESTION, QUESTION, QUESTION Those *****s!!! Good Luck!!!
