so first off i took my truck on a little drive today, about 100 miles there and 100 miles back, anyway it takes a little extra to get my truck moving... its a 1989 ford f250 4x4 with an 8 inch lift and 35 inch tires, its 3 inch down pipe to straight 4 inch exhaust and banks turbo kit on it....i feel like while i was driving it today that it has lost some power, it wouldnt gain boost like it has before. i have also noticed in the rain maybe some fuel leakage, are my lines leaking up top to the injectors. is that causing power lost? i had to pull my buddy home (about a 8 mile trip) the other day. his tranny went out. he rode his breaks the whole time. because of this my truck worked a little harder than it had to and the pyro climed to 900.... it was there for maybe a minute before it cleared and started to go back down. did the high temp for a short period of time hurt my truck?
who makes the best rubber injector fuel line kit for my truck? and where can i get it? also i think im going to replace the injectors and pump soon. which ones should i get.... i have heard a little about the moose pump... is there a better choice?
i love my truck and would like it to be happy and run the best it can.
