i'm lookin at a 90 f-350 4 door dually with a 7.3 international...i'm not sure as to the specs on it and am curious about that and whatever you can tell me there could be a great help but i'm also curious about turbo upgrades...can i pull a turbo off of a international 2+ ton truck and put on the f-350 and what would be the pro's and con's there? thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well does the 2-ton IHC truck have an IDI engine in it? Cause AFAIK those were never turbocharged from the factory when used in medium-duty trucks, so if that's the engine in it and there's a turbo on it then it's an aftermarket setup of some sort and should swap over to the F350. If the engine is a 444E or a DT446 or a DT360 then the short answer is no, the turbo will not fit the F350 engine without some fabrication.

the IDI's may not be a powerhouse in today's standards, but us owners totally love them, mainly because they are VERY simplistic and compared to today's diesels, they cost pennies on the dollar to maintain.
very reliable engines, with many owners claiming well over 300,000 miles on theirs along with many claims seeing up over 20 mpg at times.personally seeing an average of about 16 mpg with mine, hauling heavy loads with a large enclosed stake body.
if your looking for a low cost diesel rig with plenty of pulling grunt,it really is hard to beat a nice maintained 6.9 or 7.3l classic IDI in my opinion.
i sure love mine.
