That would be Greek for "Physics" for you non-science peoples!!!
My physics prof was a Trajectory Engineer for NASA. He now works for Insitu and designed the flight software for the drones they use in Iraq.
He was sooo funny when we were reading the text and the trajectory scenarios were,,, uhhhmmm,,,, politically correct.
The problem would say,,, A stranded boater is floating in a life raft and you need to drop them supplies,,, your plane is flying at a speed of blah, blah, blah,,, you know the set up.
Dr. Hall said, "BS!!! There's an enemy tank and we don't want to rescue the little b-tards!! We want to BLOW them to bits!!!" Ha! Ha!! Ha!!!
He loved trajectory problems and made us work them every day!!!
He was such an awesome teacher!!!
