error codes fromt he ac headunit..now what
hey guys....i just replaced the blend door and actuator on my 98 explorer limited. the door was broken and the actuator was missing.
but the actuator doesnt work. i done the self test thing on the headunit and got these 2 codes
024..blend door actuator shortened
025..blend door actuator not responding
NOW WHAT??????? what do they mean?

well i just went back out....ran the test again and cleared the codes.
it got rid of the 025 code but the 024 code is still there....
what do i need to replace now?
this si the 2nd actuator ive gotten for the truck. jsut figured the first one was bad so took it back and ordered another one and installed it today.
im getting ready to head to the south for vacation and it would be NICE to have the ac workin like it should.

This may sound like an dumb question but, did you remember to plug the electrical connector back onto the actuator?
I once did a BDA on a Lincoln Mark VII and realized I'd missed that oh so minor step when I tried the EATC. I was so confident that I didn't try it until everything was fully assembled.
