The total cost was about 2K.. That includes the parts, labor and odds and ends.. Plus I had to have it done at a dealer so that was probably a little more..

If you are mechanically inclined, you can do it yourself for pretty cheap. Most of the cost is labor!

Diagnosing is the real issue for me. I can fix it if I know what is wrong. I have 75K on my 05 and have just started to see some issues coming up.

Did my 2004 f-350 oil cooler and leaky egr at the same time and did it myself for $600 with 12 distiled water flushes,vc-9, 16 hrs labor, payed welder $30 and coolant. Runs like swiss watch!!
