Talking New truck!

I know it's not diesel, but I know you guys in here.

1993 F150 5.0L E4OD 3.55 rear

Got a hesitation in the trans, but I won't bother you guys with that... I'll go to the F150 side.

ditch the fade paint and go solid color or keep the 2 tone but do a differet type of break in it. and do something with the seats and you got yourself a cool truck. not too bad lookin man....

Nah, keep the fade-in paint scheme, as it's not too common. Put a shift kit in that E4OD quick tho, it needs it more than you may think.

it is here. was real real big in the 90's with the mexicans. every boarder brother had their truck painted with the fade job.

I'm not an IDI traitor... got an IP coming to fix up Beast. This is replacing my little econobox Nissan Sentra as my daily driver.

I rather like the paint scheme.

LCAM, why do you say to put a shift kit in it quick? I'm gonna do a filter change on it tomorrow and see if that helps...

Oh man that truck looks sweet! there is so much you could do with that.....I get what Oreo is saying about all the mexican cars having fade paint we have loads of them (in Indiana) but I think that paint really works with the truck take off that missed matched red molding and it will look fine I think....another thing, lowering kit and chrome rims!

Just something to look at

Cause the E4ODs in their factory form usually redefine the term "slushbox", lol. At least that's my personal opinion, if you're happy with how yours shifts then all is good.

I'm fine with how it shift, other than the hesitation. Right now I just want to go through it making repairs, then later i'll upgrade stuff and start having fun.

rear f350 spring packs (including the aux perches and spring if desired) are a direct bolt in fyi.
best mod i ever did to mine.had a 96 f150 previously.no more dangerous light front-end sway crap after that.

It's a freakin halfton man, why would he need the dumptruck-like ride of a 1-ton? Not to mention the 1-ton springs are 3" wide whereas his 2wd halfton stuff is 2-1/2" wide...

May as well show my F150, after all, it is what's replacing my F250 IDI for a while.

Not bad eh? Going from a '90 F250 4x4 5 speed Diesel to a 89 F150 6 cyl 2wd auto.

Not bad for a 20+ year old farm truck eh? It's accually now got 096,000km.
