Torque Converter
Im gettin my transmission rebuilt tomorrow (06/14/2010), Was wondering if I should go with a low stall one or a normal one. I am having a stock build done to it. Also I've been lookin around and there has been a choice of 4 stud or a 6 stud converter. What is the difference between the two?
Also, another concern Im having is. Once I get this thing in. How do I fill the thing up the t/c that is and how do I flush the lines w/o contaminating my newly rebuild stuff?
Thank You all in advance!
Dan
Im havin a friend at Mr. Transmission gut it and stuff it. Im doin the t/c because I can save some $$$ gettin myself through work. The truck is outside of town not far from the fire station by Mainstreet. I switched jobs too btw. Im now at the O'Reilly Auto Parts off of Longs Way and Parker Rd. What would the 5R100 come out of? I might be able to swing it, depending on the funds. My low stall converter is goin to cost me $220.00 my cost from work. Not a bad deal I think lol.

I'm no expert by any means. I had Brian (BTS) do all my tranny upgrades.

He uses this one: Precision Torque Converters
