Pics needed to complete trans install
Does anyone have or could take a pic of the neutral saftey switch on a 78-79 C6 4x4? I think I'm missing a bracket or somthing and it's been months since I took it apart. thanks in advance!

The 79 on my c/6 just bolts to the tranny with two bolts. I think the 78 is on the column, just going from what I have read on F T E . as I have never had a 78. So , what year is the c/6 and what year of truck are you working on ?

The last year of the column mounted switch was '77. The '78-'79's are mounted on the side of the trans. with two bolts.
Don't know if this will help you but here is the illustration from the Ford parts book for the C6 trans. showing the side mounted nss. The basic p/n is 7A247 for the switch.
