390 help
Hi, I going to look at a few engines this weekend and I know you cant tell the difference between the 360 and the 390 by looking at the block or heads so my question is if I take off the oil pan and check the crank while Im there what should the code/ casting number on it be or start with? Would like to make sure this is a 390 before I get it as I already have a 360 I know the only differences is the crank rods and pistons mainly the bigger stroke at 3.78 if anyone has any easier ways of doing this please chime in Thanks for any help, Rob
