My 86 6.9 is behaving badly.
3 weeks ago it decided to be hard to start. It would for a few seconds then sputter and die. It will start with minimal pushing on the plug button. Does the same thing hot as well(so not plugs?). Then after a day or 2 it ran great after taking it out for a good run. Now a week later same thing, starts dies then with some cranking it will start but rough for 30-45sec almost seems fuelish to me?

This is the 09 and newer section, like said above, but I do know those old 6.9s had fuel pump issues.

I believe this has been asked by the OP and answered in another thread.

You need to pull your fuel filter after it has set either all day or all night (preferably) and see how much fuel is in it, if it is not completely full you have Air Intrusion in the fuel return system, Install a Injector Installation Kit to resolve.

Ask back after you have done the filter check for further info if needed.
