Question 95' Explorer Alarm System

I have a 95 Exp. Limited with Keyfobs I have not seen anywhere else. They have only 2 buttons that say "ARM" and "DISARM" with the Ford symbol under them. I think the dealer installed it's own alarm system.
There are 2 different security stickers on my windows. The keyfobs have to be used to disarm it. If you use the keycodes under the door handles, it will set off the alarm, if you try to unlock it with the key, it will set off the alarm. If you just lock the doors, you can unlock with anything, but you cannot start it until you hit the disarm on one of the keyfobs.

My problem is that the keyfobs are starting to not want to work for me. I need to figure out if I can just buy factory keyfobs and program them, since I figure it must have both the factory and the dealer alarms.
If not, I need to figure out where the alarm control box is located. Is it the box in the back with the door code on it?

Thank you in advance for all help.....

I have a factory alarm that I installed and it does as you discribe.
I just have one remote tho.
Mine has a red light that flashes on the dash and it is also a switch I just push it and that disables it . In the arm mode the light flashes slowly and in the disarm mode the light becomes a double flash.
Hope this is of some help!

Have you tried changing the battery in the keyfob?

both of the alarms mentioned are not factory, even if purchesed from a dealer. the factory installed alarm does not go off when opening with door keypad or with key. you should be able to buy a ford remote and program it to work. dont have my programmig instructions at home but i can get if needed.

That was what I was really looking for dro, I appreciate it. I was not sure if I would need to do any re-wiring to get the factory system working, I actually have the programming instructions already, but thank you.

just to add to the above, since yuo have an explorer limited, which is top of the line, it should have been equiped with a factory alarm. the programming for it will be different than the dealer installed.
