new scmt?
Hey all, has Superchips released a new microtuner after the 1705?
I heard they have a new one out that firms up the shift points of the trany. I thought the 1705 did this?
any truth?

Just my $.02, but a chip or tuner that firms up the shifts in the tranny, accomplishes this by diverting the pressure you have through the appropriate channels in your valve body to firm up the shifts. By diverting the pressure, you're reducing the pressure in other areas. By adding a Sonnax valve and Tricumulator springs, you're increasing the line pressure overall, so nothing is deprived of fluid. The Sonnax valve increases the line pressure, the springs are what firms up the shifts. JMHO.
