My F1 Ford Shop Manual has a nice diagram of a "typical F1" master cyclinder, yet it is not the same as that part my late 1950 model F1 (V8, manual). My rebuild kit has no diagram of the proper order of the various parts and it has one hard rubber (hex interior hole) washer or spacer that is not on the diagram at all, yet came out of the old master cyclinder. Sadly I was not present when the old one was disassembled and the order of the parts coming out was not observed!!
Where can I find a true diagram for this model or someone who can tell me the proper order of parts?
Is there a better, more detailed, manual than the FMC "49-50-51 Shop Manual"?
Thanks

This is the one in the Parts CD. I remember a thread about 6-7 yrs ago on another forum that discussed the assembly of the pieces in the M/C. It seems to me that there was a change made, by either Bendix or Ford, in the internals. They look different but work the same. Can't find any sign of the thread, unfortunately. I believe the washer with internal hex is piece #2188
