Tire suggestion
So now that I am enjoying my new to me excursion, I am considering purchasing some upgraded wheels and tires. Nothing outragous. I have 2003 Excursion Limited 2WD. I am looking to upgrade to just 18 inches or 20 inches max.
Anyone have these on your ride? What size tires are you running and brand? I live in Florida and I do pull a boat with the Excursion.

(Sorry the trucks not clean in the pictures...put the tires on in the rain and took the picture about 20 minutes after they were put on)
I just stuck with the Stock rims and put BFG AT TA KO 304/70/16E on them...they fill in the wheel wells and look pretty good! IMHO you can't beat the stock rims with bigger tires for a slick ride and look.
When I test drove the truck it had 22" on it and they rode TERRIBLE...to make the deal I told the dealer to put stock rims on it...he did and I bought the truck.

im have an 03 eddie bauer ex and this is what i'm doing to it. I'm putting a 2.5 coil spacer on the front and the regular B code f250 spring on the back with a hellwig sway bar. I'm also putting ranch 9000xl's on all four courners. I will be putting either Goodyear Silent armor 305/60r20E or 285/60r20 but you can check all the different sizes here to help you.

I've got a 2003 EB 2wd also. I put on Nitto, NT420S's size - 305/50/20 mounted on American Eagle #114 size - 20x10
So far I've put close to 25,000 miles on them with plenty of tread left.

Oh yeh, I'm in cent. Fl. also.
