We have two XL CC 6.7's headed to our office soon.
I'm kind of interested to see how that trim level turned out on these 2011 trucks.

the interior on my bosses is real nice. the seats are leather two tone. blackon the outside with what looks like grey "snake skin" inserts. the dash has some wood grain and some flashy grey panels. very nice overall.

Got to drive A 2011 6.7L today. Took my 08 6.4L in for service and there was a F-250 short bed out front. My sales person said take in out while yours is in for service which turned out to be over two hours. Now the F-250 can not be compared with my F-350 set up for towing as the 250 would be 1 or 1.5K lighter.

the truck seemed to be as quiet as my 08 and the comfort and quality were no better, no worse. We took it on the interstate at 62/65mph same as the 6.4. we got the same mpg 16/18. and of course we could not tow 14K plus but we did not note a increase in power. It is a nice truck as is the 08 but based on the test drive we pass.

Im not sure but 1 - 1.5k heavier than a 250 sounds a lot to me.

I own a 6.0. I've driven a 6.4 and a 6.7 and based on my experience the 6.7 just plain blisters the road with HP and torque. I thought the 6.7 was a dang corvette! I've never driven a stock truck that has anything even close to this monster under the hood. It was like having a 400 small block in a chevy luv. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!! It was tough getting back into my truck.

richfaa, my '08 250 weighs about 8K with me and all my normal gear. Are you saying the new '11 250 is 1 to 1.5K lighter than the '08's? Is this true, anyone? I know the engine is lighter but don't remember how much.

No I did not say that. My 08 CC,LB,Dually4X4 set up for towing a 5th wheel with full fuel and two people weighs in at 9215lbs. I do not know what the 2011 F-250 weighs but my guess is 1 to 1.5K lighter. so I weigh @ 1250lbs more than ruschejj's 08 F-250.. I would think thats about right. According to a weight slip we weighed 8750 out of the dealers lot before adding the tow equipment. A Ford person at the tampa RV show said the 2011 motor was @165 lbs lighter that the 6.4L
