I went to my local Case dealer & got a couple filters, a filter base for a 2090. Then to a industrial supply shop & pieced up the fittings, hoses, clamps. Cost me about the same as they charge for a kit in the states. No waiting, no customs, worked well for me. Only had to fab up a bracket which I welded to the rad support on the pass side. Worked for me, Colin.
Just installed my dieselsite.com filter kit-went in great but I over tightened the rad drain nut. Made a crunching noise but is not leaking. Anyone have an idea of what to do: leave it and keep an eye on it; replace the nut.
My scare is that can the rad threads may be what crunched?
I had to unscrew the nut 3-4 full turns before it even started to drain so am I lucky and can just leave it?
PS I am in Canada and paid over $100 in shipping and 'brokerage fee' thru UPS.
No w I here that USPS charges only about $60 all in

Wow that is a great site. Thanks Headviking.
Looks like I will order the kit from dieselsite tomorrow . I searched every canadian diesel aftermarket site listed on google with no luck.
One would think living in the middle of the oil patch with thousands of ford diesels every aftermarket shop would have them.
Thanks to all that replied.
Yup it is chore trying to source stuff out of Canada.....looks like someone needs to get off the coach & start a biz (eh).
At least our beer is better.
Another option is to take a trip if you're near the border. US diesel is 1/2 what ours is!
