I just bought a set for both my fogs and headlights, will install them this week. go on ebay and buy them there, ill give you the link for the ones i bought.
wish i would have found that site before, the set i bought is pretty nice though with a 2 year warranty, i got 8k for the headlights and 6k for the fogs.
You dont really need the hi/lo unless you really want to blind people or your just blind at night.

Are these HID kits 50 state legal? Wanted to get them for my truck but I dont want the blue look at all. Looks like the 5000k-6000k are non blue?

Yes: the 5000k is NON-Blue, 6000k just a hint of blue
NO: they are probably not 50 state legal (this is where LOTS of people get worked up and start yelling at their computers)
No I have 55 watt in both the headlight and fogs and have no problems.
I mounted the ballasts to the fog light bracket behind the bumper and they have bin fine.

I'm running 35 watt units, but mounted my fog ballasts exactly where you did. Even through the blizzards, been fine.
I also converted my Fisher plow gear to 35 watt HIDs. Mounted the ballasts right inside the light buckets.
