06 F350 A/C problems

06 F350 A/C problems
I have an 06 f350 psd.Last week i went to use my air conditioning and it only comes out the defrost and not very good.I did some searching and found out if the electric vacuum pump under the hood messes up the a/c will go into a default mode to defrost only.I replaced the electric vacuum pump but it still only works out defrost.I checked for broken vacuum lines in engine compartment and to the shift on fly 4 wheel drive under truck.Im looking for some tips or hints on what else could be bad before tearing apart my dash.Thanks for any info

Do you have the manual ac or the climate control?

05 F350 A/C problems
I have a 05 with the same problem, but i have the electronic climate control. It did it once last week and I pushed all the buttons and it started working. It happened yesturday and I could not get it to work again. Any help will greatly be appriciated

Disconnect and plug the vacuum lines @ the front hubs....the hubs themselves may be leaking.

I think its the electric vacuum solinoid that the electric vacuum goes into.If i block the red vacuum line going to it the air and heat work right.I have to locate one and try it out.Thanks for the replys.
