Dipstick tube
Does anyone know if the dipstick tube bottoms out in the block when installed, or is there a measured leanth sticking out of the block?
I got my engine back from my machinist with the dickstick tube removed, and I forgot to measure the amount sticking out.
It fits very tight, I'm worried I might mushroom the end.
It is for a 1965 300 L6 from my F100 2WD.
