Windshield gaps.
I'm putting my windshield in. I did a dry fit and it has large gaps at both bottom corners. Anybody ever run into this problem? How can I fix it? Does anybody sell the rubber molding extra wide? Hate to have to do body work but maybe that's what it will come down to. Gaps are too wide to caulk.

As old F1 says, we can't help you very good if we don't know what you're working on.
It's not a good idea to do custom body mods to make bad parts fit. Find out what is really wrong and fix that. Don't "fix" the parts that "ain't broke".

There's a fair amount of play( up to 1/8 inch I would venture) in the glass. Anything over that I would be cautious.
On your 56 with its wrap around style (as opposed to our F1 flat glass) that space may be necessry for you to get it in an dfit on the corners.
I would definately use sealer in your situation.
