I traded my 2007 KR 4x4 for a 2010 KR 4x4 and here are some of my thoughts. First let me talk about what I liked about the 2007. I liked the size of the transmission cooler, the front lower aluminum control arms, the handling in smaller areas like in a parking lot , the rear visibility, the ride at lower speeds, the location of the fuse box under the hood in fact the lay out of many of the items under the hood, the location of the lower radiator hose (the 2010 has the hose next to the oil filter) and the ease of how you could change the air filter. Now let me talk about what I like about the 2010. It is the best looking truck inside and out that I have ever seen, the road noise is minimal this thing feels like a bank vault, the nav and sync systems are amazing, on the open road this truck is very easy to handle, the acceleration seems to be better, the brake controller and sway control are first rate, the safety features like traction control, side airbags,and the high strength steel are a big plus, and the six speed transmission is a nice option. Overall the 2010 has more pluses when compared to the 2007; however they are both fine vehicles. Any comments?

 

Although I never owned (or even drove) an F150 prior to my 2010, its interesting to read your comparison.

I am extremely happy with my 2010 so far. It's the quietest vehicle I've ever had. It feels very solid with no rattling or other noises.
