Door latch keeps popping open
The second door top latch pops open for no reason. It sometimes happens after 15 minutes of driving or as much as an hour or two . . After 3 trips to the dealer last year they replaced the cable in the door and it worked well for about a year , Now the problem is reappearing . Anyone else with this problem on their van ? Mine is a 2008 E-350 , if there is any help you could offer or suggestion on how to fix it instead of taking it back to the dealer .

Personally, I'd wonder about the alignment of the door. It sounds like a wear problem which would explain why the new latch lasted only a year. Might be worth letting a body guy look at it and give you their opinion.
