Transmission slip??
I have a 99 Exp. with the 4.6L with 54K. I notice when the tranny shifts from 1st to 2nd gear it kind of lunges slightly. Almost like it ups the RPM a little. Not really a slip. I notice it most while excelerating slowly, or in stop and go traffic. Anyone else notice this? I had a mech, look at it, and says the pan and filter were very clean, and I do have the correct tranny fluid.
