Cd Player problems

Just picked up my truck, and drove 1500 miles with no problems. Pulled a small trailer with furniture from Denver to Chattanooga. On the second CD, it started clattering and would eject all further CD's. Is this something I can fix, or is there a replacement CD/radio that will fit the dash opening?

thanks

Ben

Lot's of stuff will fit the dash opening with the help of an install kit. We put one of those flat screen things with no ***** in my wife's truck. I've also seen several with the typical single din radios put in place of the big factory radio. You end up with a storage pocket under the radio with the install kit.

I love having a bluetooth radio in my truck, I just sync my phone to it, start the music on my phone and go. When a call comes in the music pauses and when the call is finished it resumes. I have a 16GB card in my phone so I can play music for a LONG time. I can even play a movie on my Droid and listen to it via the speaker on the truck and it sounds GOOD!

In regards to your CD player, sounds like it's done for. You could go and get a CD player lense cleaning kit from walmart or a local office supply store. That may fix your problem, you may have dust on the lens but if it won't play at all then I think you're out of luck.

If you want a new radio then you can take it to a radio place and get them to install one for you that fits. You should get a slide out with touch screen and all those things

Hello,

I am not sure what is up with my CD-6 in dash. It almost acts as though I have a seperate changer somewhere but I have looked everywhere and it is not there. I have an Iphone and a radio that I could hook up to that threw bluetooth would be great. What kind of radio were you referring to?
How much was it?

Thanks.

Well any radio with built in bluetooth will do. I have a Kenwood and my wife has a Clarion, just sync the phone and in the phone make sure that only the option for playing media is selected unless you want to hold a conversation through your stereo using a external mic.
