Hi all,

Just saying hello...I pick up my new "used" 00' V10 4x4 Excursion Tuesday. Is a limited w/ 160K miles but new tires, decent cosmetic shape, everything works, & recent maintenance (hoses/belts/filters/brakes/fluids/etc.) so for not too much money I have a really cool vehicle that I always wanted. I had a great 00' Expedition but when daughter's older truck threw a rod I decided to give the Expedition to her & get me & the wife this. Luckily my daily commute only 4 miles each way w/ this pig (haha).

I'm sure I'll be checking in often as I detail it & go over everything w/ fine tooth comb so to speak. I use forums often for my other cars & this one seems active & cool!

Thanks.

thanks!

got a lotto ticket type surprise today...when picking up truck & looking through all maintenance receipts recent owners (2 years) found a few more receipts & guess what...Aamco full transmission rebuild receipt @ 115K miles so my biggest worry...the tranny life...really only has 45K on it

receipts from original owner shows they did meticulous maintenance & so did this last young owner so I think it has been well maintained...a little play in steering wheel, etc. & have already been searching forum for advise w/ plenty of good posts on DIY project fixes for front suspension so slowly I'll dig in but I am fortunate enough to have such a small commute no hurry!

I only can assume that you return texted him "Why would I want a small car when I can have my own Monster Truck?!?!?!?!"

Tell him "No thanks, I choose life!" and "small cars? yeah I know. HEY! there's a really small house for sale you might like, with small doors and small toilets!"

haha

Welcome to the Excursion Team!
