ok i went out o my truck the other day and it had a big green puddle underneath. i opened the hood and the radiator had a steady stream coming out of the middle of it. so now im goin to order a new radiator, no junk yards have one, and install it myself looks pretty simple, but nay tips on how to will be greatly appreciated.

 

Disconnect hoses, remove four 8mm bolts at top, remove, replace, replace bolts, install new t-stat, new hoses, fill, install new cap, and bleed the air out. That's about it. But if you want the warranty that goes with the new radiator, nine times out of ten, you need to replace the hoses, t-stat and the cap. It's common sens to in the first place.

its perty simple just dont forget to get those rubber seats seat right. Its a perty straight forward drop in, i just got mine rebuilt. The truck should run better whith a new rad. Good luck!

 

just replaced mine, installed 20 min. flat. got a good deal 125 made me happy

 

i just put mine in, i had to make new brakets for the rad. because i got the one that was 27" instead of the one that was 21" so i made two brakets out of aluminum and it work perfect.
looks better too. o my temp gauge only goes almost to the n in normal is that about right?

 

o yea i found mine at radiator .com they had the best deal at 139 plus 14 for overnight shipping.. then new hoses and antifreeze and all that i guess it was about 180 all togther
