Torque Converter, how do I refill?
Hi, reassembling my C6 today, and my sole reamining question is what do I do about the converter? I've read here that it gets filled with just regular tranny fluid, but how do I fill it? And do I do it before I jack the transmission into place, or after?

Just install the trans with the converter fully seated, and pour ATF into the pan. Start the engine, and it will pump fluid into the converter, so you'll need to start adding more fluid to fill the system completely. It takes generally 10-15 quarts to fully fill the entire system, and sometimes even more when deeper pan or larger coolers have been added.
