elimating A/C

elimating A/C
Hi
f150 4wd XLT V8 5.4L
My ac is shot and I think I'm just going to get rid of of it. The diagram on the hood indicates that there is a belt layout for no A/C. It looks like the idler pully has to be swung into a position that would require removing the A/C compressor. What kind of job is it to remove the compressor? Any advice?

someone said last week you can buy an idler pulley kit for $30 at NAPA. THe compressor only has 3-4 bolts holding it on. There are two freon hoses to disconnectand cut off, or lay to the side... dont sound like much work to me.
