If at all possible, I would go with Moog. Check out Rock Auto, they have really good prices on parts. I want to say I saved at least $300-350 when I went through my front end by buying from Rock Auto instead of from local places. For example the drag link here in town was $150 and I got it from Rock Auto for like $94. 31584312602627 enter those numbers in the "how did you hear about us" section in the shopping cart and it will save you an extra 5%. The code is good til June 27th and the email I got from them said to share the code with everyone and that there are no limits on order size or haw many times it can be used, so if anyone else wants to use the code, go right ahead.

I'm one not to go cheap on things, but things are tight so I must stay withing my budget...have you heard anything on MEVOTECH?

Thanks

mevo who? the way i see it if it has a warranty and a grease fitting in it then ill go with it for something like that. i would however go for top of the line on things like u joints and such, if that makes any sense at all.

Yea that why i'm trying to get as much info before I buy, maybe someone can recommend another brand name that they have used... The truck is not a daily driver so it wont be abused or used off road if that makes sense..

Thanks

What is your budget for the tie rod ends? Do you just need the two that attach to the knuckle on each side?

Well, you could go with the mevotech and just make sure you keep them greased with a good grease and you might have good luck. I guess I don't have any experience with this particular brand tho. Looks like they have a 5yr warranty from what rock auto says. If you buy all the parts off of there you will be out about $60 plus shipping if you don't need adjusting sleeves.

you will need an alignment after. keep that in mind. and if what wildcat is saying is true about the 5yr warranty from rockauto, then hell get it from there. just make sure they are greased and your home free.

The way I see it, because you're going to need to pay for an alignment as well, buy the good stuff (Moog). Doesn't help much to save with cheaper parts if those parts failing costs more than just the parts, if you catch my drift...

I'm planning on doing my ball joints and rod ends with Moog. Rock Auto has them for a steal compared to anyone else and from what I've read they would be worth whatever their price.
