has anyone ever used Inline Tube for brake lines? Especially interested if anyone has had any lines duplicated. They dont exactly have what I need so I was planning on getting them to duplicate what I need.
Just wanted to hear yall's input.
I will post once I get all my stuff sent off and back and see how it goes.
Just finished installing the complete set of stainless steel lines from Inline Tube, the fit was quite good. A little tweaking here and there was needed but nothing unusual.
I installed the brake, fuel, p. steering and emission lines on my project ('73 F100 2WD). Here are some pictures.
Also, any really long lines will come with a "shipping bend" in them. This is a large radius 180 deg. bend that is well marked and easily straightened. They do this to keep the shipping costs down and to be able to ship UPS.
i was wanting to do the whole kit but they do not make one for a 74 f250 with manual drums....they make it for power drums but the guy at inline told me he wasnt sure if it would fit into the master cylinder...i really only needed the hard line that goes from wheels cylinder to the rubber hose but couldnt find them anywhere

NICE JOB!
Did you reuse your stock mounting hardware, or did you find the oem parts?
If those are oem clips could you list the part number!

I had to reuse the stock mounting hardware (I wish someone would reproduce these things.). Taking them apart isn't too difficult.
There is a small plastic pin that has to be driven back to release the clamp. On the side of the frame opposite the clamp, where it sticks through is the pin. I used a small pin punch (I think 3/16") drive the pin back through the clamp, you don't need to drive it all the way out. Then I used a pair of linemans pliers to squeeze the four little tangs closed then tapped the clamp loose.
To reinstall just put the clamp on the line, line the little tangs up and push them through the hole in the frame. Take a hammer and punch and gently drive the pin back through.

Yeah, I tried to save most of mine from the parts trucks but I couldnt find enough good ones to reuse mine.
I ended up buy some plastic hot rod ones and running the lines with some stainless steel bolts and cap style bolts.

Dynamic, just incase you want them, here are the Ford p/n's for the plastic line clips. There are four different ones, in my notes I didn't keep track of which were which. The quantity I was going to order if I found them is in parentheses:
(6) 351968-S, (5) 380676-S, (6) 384884-S, (8) 377106-S
I located (3) 351968-S at Green Sales but didn't get them because I couldn't locate any other clips.

Thanks, I would love to find these someday! If I happen to come accross a stash I will be certain to let you know!
Speak of the devil - I'm sending the brake lines out of my Galaxie to them on Monday for custom duplication. I just got off the phone with them. Fingers crossed.
Dynamic - I have a bunch of those plastic clips saved here. I grab them off the trucks I part out but haven't really put them back in anything. If you are interested PM me and I can get a pic of what I have. I'd be open to selling them as I'm thinking I'll use edell clamps (aircraft style line clamps) on my trucks.
