Yeah, look in the back of your 1959 Shop Manual.

Don't have a shop manual?

Thank you.
It is not in the back of my shop manual (which i bought from Detroit Iron a few years ago). I've been trying to find a separate wiring diagram and have had no luck. I do appreciate the ones you included in your wiring tutorial.

That's odd it's not in your manual. Usually they are in the last 5 pages.

I know that C&G sells repro year specific wiring diagrams so I'm guessing Carpenter, MACS, Sacvinford, and the rest do too.

Is there something specific you are trying to do with the wiring, just want it for reference, or rewiring? Let me know and we can come up with something.

Edit Note: I did a little internet searching and found these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1958-...sQ5fLiterature

http://www.classiccarwiring.com/ford.php

E-bay is $15.

I'm not sure how much it is at the second place but at least they have it.

i'll check with the other vendors you mentioned.

i am (i hope) going to rewire the truck. (and i already printed out your primer)

i ordered the wiring kit from a company in oregon which is supposed to include a "simplified" diagram. Since i'm a real novice, i wanted some extra references.
thank you for your help.

The two links I posted do have them. If you are going to rewire, my drawings will work fine for you. I think Tumblindyce is doing his 60 to them.

This wiring is SO easy you will be incredibly impressed with yourself - don't be intimidated - really!

Everything you need is in Julie's tutorial...diagrams and instructions. You said you bought a wiring harness kit--hopefully it will have good instructions. IMO, that's another advantage to wiring from scratch using Julie's tech document--you know you will be following a well-written, detailed set of instructions. Good luck with your wiring--you'll probably be done before me--I keep getting sidetracked.
