Riffraff East ATV Ride

Hey guys and gals. For those interested and I know a few are for those arriving early in the week and staying for a while I would like to invite you all to a ride one some of our finest trail riding we have here. I figure that maybe wed or thur we could all load up and ride out to either windrock or Brimstone Recreation. Both places are about 17 dollars to ride, rentals are available for a price. For those bringing there own I will be hauling my 16ft trailer up to the camp ground so I can haul 5 to 6 atvs and people down for those interested. Both places are about 2 hrs away from the camp ground so plan on leaving early.

Although I had planned on it, just don't look like I will be ATVing this time. I am bringing my nephew and he needs to be at the camp learning what he can about diesels. The fact that I don't have a trailer to haul two ATV's and I probably won't arrive until around lunch on Thurs also will keep me from riding. Still sounds like fun and if the plans change, I'll be there.

sounds like fun. i looked at the rental fees from the Brimsotne area and a 650cc is roughly 170$/day. the link to the rental fees off the other site didnt work for me but im guessing they are pretty close in price. I'll have to talk with the wife about that price before i can commit

I just got off the phone with WindRock about rental prices. They rent 2wd 350cc for $150, 4wd 400cc for $200, and Rhino side by sides for $275. All are 8hr rentals and include helmets. I also called Brimstone to ask about 2wd's just as a possibly cheaper alternative. They told me that actually all their rentals are 4wd. They have 360's for $142.02, 650's for $163.88, Rhino's for $223.96, and they also have 750's not listed on their website for $185.73. They are also 8hr rentals and they also include helmets. PM on the way JD.

As long as I've got room in my truck bed I'll bring my quad. 300cc 2wd honda.

I may or may not take you up on the offer to have you trailer mine, JD. Depends on how hard it is to lift into my bed. I've watched my brother lift my quad and his (they're identical just about) into his truck but he's a lot stronger than I am.

Man I've been wanting to take my trail rig to Windrock for a long time now. Can't bring it and the camper though. That side by side rental sounds kewl, but not sure right now if I'll have the time or the cabbage to do that. Have to discuss this with the boss first before I can say yea or nay.

Do they let you ride 2 wheelers there too JD? If so, me and the kids may be up for a ride although we are coming in Friday and are planning on staying over several days into the following week, if any of y'all are staying over.
