I'm looking at a 2005 f250 with a 6L it has 150000 miles. Was reading all the horror stories. Just wondering if the head gasket issue would have happend already if it was going to happen. He changed the oil every 4000 miles. The truck is in very good shape and has owned it since it was new with no major problems.
That would be one of those crystal ball questions. You always take a chance on buying a used vehicle so look it over to the best of your ability or have a Ford mechanic run it through the shop, money well spent.
