The picture that mabc926 posted is a 99 or later powerstroke. You can see part of the spyder for the intercooler, and it has the small cover you need for the intercooler tubes to fit. The 94.5 threw 97 strokes did not have an intercooler, and most had a larger plastic cover on them.
ok ill tell you more the air filter cover aint plastic it is cast iron and it has 4 bolts holding it on oil cap is on front middle of engine right behind radiator only words on intake are ford turbo looks just like the first pic joe f350 posted i am almost 99.9% sure it is idi
couple questions for you guys i got are my front tires throw out out at the bottom and in at the top when i back up but then when i go forwards even a little bit they get back straight as a string is this normal for the obs or idi trucks it has a d50 axle
Thanks, I will have to have a much better look at it next time I get a chance. His truck is a 250 and the tires are cambering in a little when backing up. We checked everything out all looked tight and good. He does need a good front end line up. Front tires are wearing the outsides of the tires bad.
Probably will later, now he just wants to get in on the road and safe. He has a brake problem. You have to stand on the brakes to get it to stop. I don't have a vacuum gauge, but just using my finger over the hose, the vacuum seems weak. It has suction, just not very much. Also, it pops out of 4wheel low when any pressure is applied. External linkage all looks good. Any thoughts would be appreciated
