Ford undercoating ?
I bought a truck from tx and I live in mn I was wondering if ford undercoats all of the trucks some of the trucks or do i need to get it coated or not?

Don't waste your money. the manufacture's do quite a bit on vehicles, for rust prevention. The elpo coating that is under the paint, to galvinized body panels. The bets thing you can do during the winter is to try and keep your truck clean.

But that is done over virgin metal --- so they can do things you cannot do after the vehicle has left the plant.

Ok you have answered the ? But what I am trying to say is that a truck coming off the assembly line in kentucky doesn't under coat trucks going to Minnesota and not ones going to texas. Correct?

No, they don't do anything different to vehicles going to different regions.
